About

nadia grüttemeyer

Paediatric Osteopath | Naturopath | Founder of NG Osteopathy

Hello — I’m Nadia Grüttemeyer, a registered osteopath and naturopath with a special focus on caring for babies, children, and mothers.

With a Master’s degree in Osteopathic Medicine and a Diploma in Naturopathy from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine, I combine gentle, hands-on osteopathic techniques with a holistic understanding of growth, development, and family wellbeing.

I understand how precious those early days and months can be — and how challenging it is to take your baby out when they’re unsettled. That’s why I offer osteopathic treatments in the comfort of your own home, creating a calm, familiar environment where your baby (and you) can relax and feel at ease.

Over the years, I’ve helped many families find calm and comfort through thoughtful, nurturing osteopathic care — supporting babies through unsettled beginnings, aiding children’s healthy development, and helping parents recover and adapt to the demands of family life.

MY

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that a calm, comfortable baby helps create a calm, confident family.

Osteopathy for babies is gentle, subtle and deeply supportive — working to release tension from birth, feeding, or developmental strain so little ones can feed, sleep, and move more comfortably.

For mothers, I offer care that honours the physical and emotional changes that come with pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood — helping you restore balance, relieve pain, and reconnect with your body.

My approach is guided by sensitivity, evidence and empathy — recognising that every child (and every parent) has their own story.

what you can

Expect

During your home visit, I’ll take the time to listen carefully to your concerns, understand your baby’s history, and observe how they move, feed, and settle — all in the comfort of their familiar surroundings.

Each session involves gentle, non-invasive osteopathic techniques, tailored to your baby’s or child’s individual needs. These may help with:

– Feeding or latching difficulties
– Tension after birth or assisted delivery
– Digestive discomfort (wind, colic, reflux)
– Sleep and settling issues
– Postural or developmental imbalances
– General wellbeing and comfort

For parents, I offer home-based postnatal and family osteopathy sessions to help with:

– Back, neck, or pelvic pain
– Postural changes from feeding or carrying
– Recovery from birth or caesarean
– Fatigue and stress relief

Home visits allow you to remain relaxed, unhurried, and supported — ideal for babies and new parents alike.

Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a holistic approach to healthcare that focuses on the whole body, not just isolated symptoms. By assessing how your body moves, how your lifestyle, work, and activities impact your health, and understanding your personal goals, osteopaths can diagnose, treat, and support your body to function at its best. Whether it’s improving mobility, relieving pain, or enhancing overall well-being, osteopathy works with your body’s natural ability to heal.

PAEDIATRIC

Paediatric osteopathy focuses on supporting the growth, development, and overall well-being of babies, children, and adolescents. Using gentle, non-invasive techniques, osteopaths can help with issues such as feeding difficulties, sleep problems, digestive issues, posture, and musculoskeletal discomfort, while promoting healthy movement and development at every stage of childhood.

PRE- & POST NATAL

Pregnancy brings incredible changes to your body, including shifts in posture, weight distribution, and ligament flexibility. These changes can place extra strain on your joints and muscles, leading to discomfort or tension. Pre- and postnatal osteopathy uses gentle, targeted techniques to help ease these stresses, support your body throughout pregnancy, and aid recovery after birth, promoting comfort, mobility, and overall well-being.
